I have been coming here for nearly ten years along with my wife and young children. We have only great things to say about the care, treatment and staff. Dr. Skurla and the entire team create a terrific family atmosphere.
A co-worker recommended me to Dr. Skurla 20 years ago. We’ve entrusted our dental care ever since. I have made numerous recommendations to others. I know they will love the care as much as I do.
I have been a patient for many years and cannot think of going anywhere else. The staff is courteous and proficient, and the care I receive is comprehensive and thorough.

Dr. Skurla has been my children’s dentist since their first teeth started coming in. She and her staff have provided excellent care, including expert advice for my special needs child.

About Leslie

Dr. Skurla was born and raised in Whippany, attending the public schools and graduating from Hanover Park High School in 1968. She graduated from Westbrook College and practiced dental hygiene in Denville before starting dental school in 1976. She received her doctorate of dental medicine degree from New Jersey Dental School in 1979 and opened her private dental practice on Route 10 in Whippany in 1981. She and her dentist associates perform every procedure themselves personally. The practice welcomes patients of all ages and with all types of dental needs. Dr. Skurla has a very special affinity for special needs patients as her adult middle son, Benjamin has Down Syndrome.

Dr. Skurla has been active in organized dentistry and served as the President of the Tri-County Dental Association from 1987-1988, Secretary of The New Jersey Dental Association from 1987-1988 and was selected as a founding member of the American Dental Association Committee of New Dentists in 1988.
